Space Dream

I had a dream...
It was a blur,
Covered with steam
I am not sure

Then my vision
As clear as day
The sunlight burns
I got to say

Streets were empty
Like no one's home
Humpty dumpty
Nothing but bones

They caught my eyes,
Letters on walls
They say 'Goodbye
Earth, After All'

I saw no man
But, but, but, why?
Where were we then?
Had we gone by?

Impossible, it's imperceptible
It couldn't be, it must not real
This is.... that was.... it's.... but....
Wait!

Dream, it was just
About our home
A world we'd crushed
And left alone

To space we've gone
Far and beyond
For a better one
To space we've gone
